About Dr. Yalamanchili
Dr. Yalamanchili partnered with the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery in August 2007. During Dr. Yalamanchili's one year fellowship in facial plastic surgery at the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery the partners were so impressed with his skill, knowledge, demeanor and professionalism that they feel he will be a great asset not only to the practice but to the Rochester community and field of Facial Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Yalamanchili is a native of New York City where he attended The Collegiate School, he then went on to Cornell University where he not only was honored as a scholar but was MVP of the varsity squash team. He earned his M.S. in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown University, graduating with distinction. Dr. Yalamanchili then attended Georgetown Medical School and graduated cum laude as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He has always had a passion for art and felt as though facial plastic surgery would be the best field to combine the art and science of medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary where he was elected academic chief resident by the faculty. After successfully completing his board certification, his training continued in facial plastic surgery here in Rochester with Dr. Quatela for the last year. As a preceptor for an annual American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Fellowship for the last 10 years and as a partner who has observed his clinical and surgical skills, Dr. Quatela and Dr. Koenig both agree that Haresh has distinguished himself as an outstanding fellow and practitioner. He is truly a star and the entire medical practice expects great things from him in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
Haresh is very interested in research and teaching and has published and presented many articles on numerous topics. He has extensive training in facial reconstruction in all age groups. One of his areas of special interest and expertise is ethnic rhinoplasty.
Dr. Yalamanchili has many outside interests including music (he is a classical guitarist), literature and art. He is obviously a great squash player but enjoys most of all spending time with his two young sons. His wife Sushma, also a physician, is practicing in Rochester as a Neuro-Ophthalmologist.
Dr. Yalamanchili is gladly accepting new patients at our office at 973 East Avenue in Rochester, NY.
