Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Amalfi is a Rochester, NY, native who offers a unique perspective as a woman and mother. Dr. Amalfi’s talent, passion, and advanced technical skills allow her to treat the most complicated patients and patients seek her out for their revision breast surgeries. She is especially gratified to help women who have had multiple failed surgeries or who have experienced complications and deformities following breast augmentation surgery.
As a key opinion leader in breast surgery, Dr. Amalfi has presented on breast augmentation and breast revision surgery at multiple national and international plastic surgery meetings.
Additionally, she has taught her auto augmentation breast lift technique—which involves maintaining a patient’s breast volume during a breast lift without using implants—to other plastic surgeons at national meetings, sharing her technical pearls and long-term results.

Dr. Amalfi proudly supports her alma mater, Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women, and is Vice Chair of the board of trustees. She loves giving back to the school that empowered her as a woman to pursue her dreams and enter a career in the male-dominated field of surgery.

She’s devoted much of her career to becoming one of the nation’s leading breast revision plastic surgeons, which included a prestigious 6-year integrated residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
Dr. Amalfi is the Chair of the Young Plastic Surgeons committee in ASPS currently. She is highly engaged as a leader within her society, and she finds this work and networking to be a rewarding and enriching experience.
