Alyssa Iacona, MSN, FNP-C, RNFA, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse First Assist, and a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from St. John Fisher University, graduating with high honors.
Alyssa’s background includes over five years as a registered nurse in trauma surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center and in outpatient dermatology at Dermatology Associates of Rochester. She has also volunteered in Guatemala with the Help Us Give Smiles (HUGS) Foundation, assisting surgical teams who care for children with microtia and cleft lip/palate—a transformative experience that solidified her passion for plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Since joining the Quatela Center in 2019, Alyssa has provided personalized pre- and post-operative care, guiding patients through every stage of their surgical journey with compassion and attention to detail. In addition to her clinical role, she serves as Dr. Amalfi’s first assist in the operating room, working collaboratively to ensure safe, seamless procedures and optimal outcomes.
