Meet Emily | Nurse Practitioner

Emily Charles MSN, FNP-C, is a registered Family Nurse Practitioner. She has extensive experience in cardiovascular surgery as well as ENT surgery and has built her nursing career caring for surgical patients. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Niagara University and worked as a Registered Nurse for six years both in the Rochester area and as a travel nurse. She went on to graduate from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Throughout her career, she has developed a strong passion for medicine and for supporting patients through every stage of their surgical journey. She loved working in the inpatient surgical setting but knew that she wanted to transition into the field of aesthetics and plastic surgery, where she could combine her clinical expertise with helping patients feel confident and achieve their personal goals.

Emily joined the Quatela Center team in 2026. She is an upbeat, positive, and approachable member of the practice who always brings warmth and kindness to every patient interaction. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and cuisines, reading, and spending time with her dog and fiancé. She values opportunities to learn, experience new places, and make meaningful memories with family and friends.
