Using a precision laser, PrecisionTx™ uses heat to stimulate collagen production which leads to thickening of the skin. Tissue also retracts, creating a more defined contour. Results continue to improve over time.

Read OnPrecisionTx™ FAQ’s
How does PrecisionTx™ work?
Using a precision laser, heat is used to stimulate collagen production, which in turn leads to tissue retraction and causes the skin to thicken.
Does the PrecisionTx™ treatment hurt?
If done in the office, a local anesthetic is used to numb the area so patients feel minimal discomfort during their treatment. A pain medication may be prescribed by the doctor at their discretion based upon the patient’s level of discomfort.
PrecisionTx™ may be performed in conjunction with surgical procedures in the OR. In that case, anesthesia will already be used and PrecisionTx™ will be performed during surgery.
Will I need a ride after the treatment?
For your comfort, we recommend that you have a ride to and from the treatment. If you have pain medication at the time of the treatment or if it is performed during surgery, you will need a ride.
How many treatments will I need?
For most patients, only one treatment is needed with PrecisionTx™. After treatment, significant improvement occurs one to two weeks after the procedure, with continued improvement over a period of three to six months, although individual experiences vary.
Can I combine PrecisionTX with other treatments?
Yes, a comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation and contouring is possible for some patients. For example, you may want to address forehead wrinkles or crow’s feet with BOTOX® Cosmetic injections or other injectable treatments while you’re at our med spa.
How long will the results last after my treatment?
Results are long-lasting and continue to improve over time.
Are there any side effects from the treatment?
Slight swelling and irritation may occur at the incision site but will quickly resolve within a few days.
Will I need stitches?
Small incisions are made behind the earlobes which require one or two sutures only. In some cases there is an incision under the chin which requires no stitches.

Who is an ideal candidate for this procedure?
Anyone who is concerned with the contour of their jawline and neck is a candidate.
How long does the treatment take?
The procedure takes about one hour.
What can I expect after the procedure?
Typically a person may have some swelling and bruising during the first seven to ten days. Some mild soreness and/or possibly a feeling of tightness of the neck/jaw may occur.
