Mini Facelift
Weekend Facelift Rochester NY, Mini Facelift New York

Turning back the hands of time has been the goal of the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery since its beginning.  In the complex, busy world that our patients live in, many feel that downtime after plastic surgery is not a viable option. As a result of this demand, procedures like the Weekend Facelift have been introduced. We have experienced a surge of inquiries regarding this new plastic surgery technique and would like to take some time to provide details and explain where it fits into our "Ladder Concept." Here is a brief overview of the mini facelift procedure:

Weekend Facelift: Commonly referred to as the mini facelift, this surgical procedure is able to target isolated problem areas for an individual who has experienced slight to moderate signs of aging. The weekend facelift usually requires the use of only local anesthesia and shorter incisions. During the procedure, small amounts of skin are removed with minimal mobilization of the surrounding skin which results in a tightening of the facial skin and a return to normal activity in a matter of days. The Mini-facelift is not for those who are looking to obtain dramatic results, but rather, for those who desire a subtle change and a refreshed look. Patients can expect to have a short healing period, minimal scarring and reduced cost compared to a traditional facelift. By comparison, in a traditional facelift, a large portion of the patient's skin and underlying tissue is lifted and repositioned into a more youthful location. This results in a dramatic improvement which is long lasting.

With our ladder concept, we hope to be able to guide patients about their situation and recommend various methods to make improvements. We feel the strength of the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery is the fact that we offer nearly all of the options available in the plastic surgery market today and are actively researching each and every new development that comes to market to make sure it is safe and effective for our patients. Our plastic surgeons and staff with many years of experience spend nearly 100% of their time treating cosmetic patients and are dedicated to providing the best results.

New procedures, new technology and new claims are in the news every day. Please call the office if you have questions or would like to learn our feelings about the state of the art in plastic surgery today.
